History of Decision Board
Version 4.0 of the Decision Board simulator was developed by Professor Alex Mintz and programmed by Eyal Mintz. This generic, web-based version allows analysis of sophisticated sequential and interactive decision problems.
Version 3.0 of the Decision Board was developed by Jyotsna Kypa under the supervision of Prof. Mintz. Decision Board 3.0 is a generic, web-based platform. It contains scenarios of emergency response incidents such as The World Trade Bombing, Hamas Bus Attacks in Israel, U.S. Embassy bombing in Africa and so on.
Version 2.0 of Decision Board was developed by Jacob Quisenberry under the supervision of Prof. Mintz. It transformed the original Decision Board to a generic system.
Version 1.0 of Decision Board simulator was developed by Drs. Nehemia Geva and Alex Mintz of Texas A&M University and programmed by Uri Geva. It consists of a fixed scenario and fixed policy alternatives and dimensions. It was this version of the Board which was used by Mintz, Geva, Redd and Carnes in their paper in the American Political Science Review (September 1997) studying patterns of decision making of Air Force commanders, and in numerous other publications.
